Forming part of this network infrastructure improvement programme, Thames Water have awarded Hawker Siddeley Switchgear (HSS) a five year framework agreement (with a potential to increase to 7 years) to supply HV Electrical Equipment and Related Design and Installation Services with a contract value anticipated to reach £4million.
Utilising the patented ‘Fit & Forget’ technology, the Eclipse offers an extremely low-maintenance, hi-tech solution. This particular solution offered by HSS is quite unique in the
water industry in that the switchgear is of a fixed pattern design, whilst maintaining the superior reliability expected.
